The EALE Prague 2023 Conference

The European Association of Labour Economists (EALE) is the most important European academic society for the advancement of theoretical and empirical research about the behaviour of individuals and firms in the labor market. It was founded in 1989 to support the development of knowledge in the field of labor market economics and human resources in Europe and beyond and currently has more than 800 members from 25 countries.

21 - 23 September 2023

The conference will feature:

  • Parallel sessions, containing 3 or 4 short (15 minute) presentations;

  • Poster sessions, each with an expected duration of 60 minutes;

  • Three Flash talk sessions on the following themes: Job Search in the 21st Century, The role of firms in the labour market and Unemployment;

  • Two keynote speakers: Uta Schönberg (UCL) and Gordon B. Dahl (University of California).

At the conference, EALE will organize Job market sessions to offer advice aimed at job market candidates in the Labour Economics field.
